Spider's Thread sounds very familiar..... I've read that story since I was in grade school.
There was a God who made thread using a spider web. It takes so long to make a thread and he uses it to fish a person from the bad place to heaven. I am guessing the God is really big. The God was trying to give the man a second chance but the man he is trying to save has other people too but he is trying to kick them out because of greed and the thread was getting weaker and broke. He couldn't save that man also the man who only thinks of himself and doesn't want the others to be save causes the thread to break.
That's the story what I've remembered from chinese class.
