Title: Sugar Shooter 2's Request For Save Points
Post by: Reiga on February 06, 2012, 08:00:17 PM
Hey, how come I can't save my story progression?  It's no fun that I have to start over if I lose and already on the second level

It's unavoidable for arcade game like shoot'em up though. Players can abuse save game to keep retrying for highscore.

I have thought about this but test players who mentioned this point exactly like you did find that it doesn't bother them at all after they plays for a while.

So, sorry about that! Can't come up with a solution that would satisfy all kinds of player yet, that wouldn't extend the development time. I'll do something if I can come up with a good idea though or we can release as a patch or something.

If you say so.  I just think it defeats the purpose of trying to beat the game if you won't let us have a save point.  Especially for casual gamers like me.

I don't care if my score resets, I just want to be able to continue from Episode 2 instead of having to start at Episode 1

Also, the sound effects for the kunais on Episode 1 is freaking out

Since I failed to merge the topic, could you please edit the title of this thread to be something about asking for a save point? Sorry about that! >_<;

Oh, and if you have any further comments, please reply to the game thread!

Back to the save point topic, Yes, I understand your point completely, so I'll keep that in mind :)
