Transferring Save FileThe game's save file is "profile.ss". You can use the old save file with the new version of the game. Moving the game folder will also move this file, so save file won't be lost.
Gamepad SetupAlso, good news for AlexRexx, and anyone who owns a 360 or PS3 controller. You can now use them without problems. Here's what you need to do
1.) Go to Input Setting Screen
2.) Double click on "Gamepad X Axis" key
3.) Press left or right on your controller with the analog stick or d-pad, whichever you want to use to control
4.) Double click on "Gamepad Y Axis" key
5.) Press up or down on your controller with the analog stick or d-pad, whichever you want to use to control
6.) Test the game, see if the up and down or left and right are inverted or not.
If they are inverted, go to number 7
7.) Open the file "setting.json" in Notepad
8.) Change xInverted or yInverted from false to true, depending on which direction is inverted during the test in number 6
xInverted will invert left and right
yInverted will invert up and down
And that's it! You should be able to use your favourite controller now!
Yay! It's finally here. The final version seems very sleek. I like that the bullets are clearer now. And the extra sound effects are cute. Although the sound effect during the Saionji butt sex scene makes me laugh. :P
I just got owned by Kibi in stage 2 lol. I have a feeling that I'm not gonna be able to focus on stripping the enemy or getting a high score until I unlock all the stages in practice mode. 'Cause I know I'm gonna make loads of mistakes my first time through and restarting from the beginning every time I do is just too tedious.
Damnit! On my next attempt I owned Kibi but then Toryu beat me up and I ran out of continues. Something tells me this is gonna be the pattern of find boss easy on second try but then proceed to get owned by the next boss. Gah. This is gonna take a while.
On another note I must say how gorgeous the animation and visuals are. The OST is amazing from what I've heard so far as well. You've done a really fantastic job on the presentation as well as the gameplay!
Also I have to say that Kibi's sex scene was extremely hot. Also Toryu is uber hot once his full stripped.... Takezamurai does not disappoint. :P

Also, Episode 2 reminds me of Rhythm Heaven X3
It's cause the way the flaming Mentos' bullet sound effects mixes so well with the gameplay music X3
I just love the game so far! Oh god, it's so awesome (as far as I could play up till now). I really love the new adjustments and I really like the harder modes, since they are quite the challenge. I'm quite inquiring, if there are secret scenes perhaps? like with the dad or something? but even if not, its just such a great game, going to fill a lot of i-should-really-work-right-now-hours!
Since you asked us to tell you about glitches or bugs, just wanted to say, that in stage 3 there isnt a "chapter title" showing in the beginning.

Goodness, I swear the sex scenes just keep getting hotter and hotter. I can't imagine what the one with the twins will do to me! I think I'll die from happiness lol.
Speaking of the twins I almost got them but that Philadelphia Buster attack they finish with is insane. I was like WHHHAAAAAAAAAAT!!! BOOOOM! XD
Either way I'm really enjoying the creativeness that's gone into the enemies and their attacks. It's a lot of fun learning how to avoid all their unique patterns. I think Aki and Ao's attacks are definitely my favourites. I feel sorry for Ao who is pretty much the bait whilst Aki goes on a rampage lol.
Also is it weird that I read the twins' dialogue in a brooklyn accent? It's probably because I watched the dub of Baccano! recently. :P

I'm glad you like it! If you're playing in Normal, then that's enough to unlock everything in the gallery and theater. Bitter and Black change some enemy's pattern or add a new one to them, but unlockable content wise, they're the same as normal. As for Oni Papa, you can undress him but there is no sex scene of him...yet ;)

Actually there is, but it's different from other stages. After the first wave of enemy, then the chapter title appear.

In option mode, you can turn off nudity and erotic scenes. If you do this, it'll become a clean shooting game - with sexy cute guys :P

That is correct. CGs and erotic scenes in theater mode are unlocked only when they are seen. Turning off both nudity and h-scene options mean you'll never get to see them, so they won't be unlocked as well.

I'm sure you will! Stay calm and you should be able to beat Fuuma. Just don't panic when he started using... you'll see! :D
As for accents, I have no idea! You have to ask wohdin about this. I told him they shouldn't sound like they're from the city and should be a bit rough.
It seems like there is a problem with the highscore server right now. Hopefully they can get it fix soon :( I remember seeing one guy beat the game already with Souffle on Sweet mode!

No, to get a good ending, all you need to do is completely strip Fuuma.
The partner endings, on the other hand, require completely stripping Fuuma AND something else. It isn't about score though! :-X

I think you had to get the muliplicator high enough (about 10?) and then complete the story.

As for the multiplier(Synchro Level), it will be decreased by one if you got hit. And if you continue, it will be reset back to 0 :)

I'd suggest trying to get partner ending in Sweet mode before normal mode. We made Sweet mode much easier, so our Normal mode is now up to the standard difficulty of Shmup game, I think.

There is nothing easy when it comes to dodging all those fish in Chapter 3! XD
The manual does say Synchro Level matters for the ending, but will I manage to get enough and KEEP it? I'm still conflicted between staying at 300% and making macarons.
I hope we can get partner endings in Sweet, or I will be fighting to get them for weeks!
I guess Normal would be easier to fill up Synchro for Soul Whisk, since there are so many bullets... I can't even dare to look at BLACK!
All endings can be unlocked in Sweet mode. There is no "no continue and normal or higher difficulty only" like in Touhou. I want everyone to be able to see the ending too :D

BTW, if you ever make Sugar Shooter 3, use different sound effects for the humping X3 It's not sexy to hear a shaking matchbox, heheh

Of course that's no good if you get hit afterwards...

To give an idea, by the end of Stage 1 I was able to get an 11 on Sweet, but only a 9 on Normal.
That was just a small number of playthroughs so far though.
And I hate to even mention it again, but I have a problem with the humping sound effects too.
I don't even want to describe how bad it sounds.

I've got 87 million points from sweet. still I've got continues. I'm having hard time in the house still. just when good stuff happens to interrupted like in the game. ><;;
hmmmmm..... I think getting soul whisk. They only do quick burst on the X button that way it won't consume fast on your power level. then they use soul whisk without shooting the enemy and continue filling up the meter by quick burst again.

Souffle and Arthur are my 1st and 2nd choice to go through the game, Tarosuke third for the spread bombs/focus fire tactic, and finally Sugarless to try and power thought the game

Guys, we've just found one bug that will not unlock the good ending in theater mode. Terribly sorry about this and I am going to fix it ASAP. However, the CGs associated with the good ending are still unlocked in the gallery. I've also checked and the partner endings are unlocked without any problem as well.

@ AlexRexx: I think that all of the stuff is unlockable on sweet mode, except for the bugged one.
@ people who can't get the partner endings: I would recommend stockpiling the synchro on the first three stages (around 15) and then focus on killing last two bosses since they are more difficult to strip. By the time those two stages end, you should have enough extra to get hit a few times.
@ punipen: Is Oni-Papa supposed to have a sugar rush? Because the marker shows up, but it doesn't tell you anything.

Thanks for that! I went kinda Whisk-crazy (not 100%) after posting and got to the final battle with about 15 Synchro... and naked :( I'll probably get Souffle's ending next time. 8)

I've got some questions and/or problems.
1. Ive been playing SS2 on Mac right now and I cant use the shortkeys for switching to other programms/desktop while using SS2. On Windows it works perfectly fine. Is that a bug or am i just too stupid? ^^
2. I have to recall my previous "bug"report. On sweet mode, there isnt a title in Stage 3. In normal mode it works just fine. (Mac & Win)

Ah, I see! I have mac but I've never tried that. Though if there's a problem, I think it's because of how Unity handle it, since none of my code has anything to do with neither apple key nor tab key. Shortcuts I know for the mac build are
- Toggle fullscreen - CMD + F
- Quit Game - CMD + Q

Sry if I'm looking like some grumpy, bad-english-speaking, annoying guy, but since I've got the new update, the music is not working right ; ; The only musics playing are the intro sequence tune, the normal boss tune and of course the menu tune.
Which is quite bad, since I remembered some "spell cards" (touhou vocabulary.... -_-) or monster waves with the help of the musicinterval.
But well, since I dont want to sound grumpy (what I really aint), I have to compliment you (again) for doing a wonderfull game. And other than touhou, it really makes me want to beat all stages with all characters on all difficulties (well, I gave my touhou CD to a good heterosexual friend, as I was bored right after the first day of playing lol. He's probably now the #1 touhou-pixiv weabo in germany, I think, lolz...)
You're right, the new Unity somehow couldn't recognize the bgm files except title, boss and prologue. I've replaced the file with the fixed one already, so everything should work now. The number of version is still 1.11 though, because I forgot to change and too lazy to go through the whole build process again :P
Question: is the online HiScore submission working already? I'm submitting as TETSU (since Ramsey doesn't fit XP) but when I went to Online Score it shows noting but an Error icon...

They should work now. We want to add the auto-submit-later feature as well, but the online highscore service we're using is moving their server to a new one, I think. So there's a lot of problems right now. As soon as they get it fix, I'll release a new update that will try submitting your best local highscore to the online leaderboard.

I see. I was just curious to see other players' scores, maybe get a good idea of how well I was doing. I took the chance and deleted the whole old folder and start from square one again with the new version. I'm having trouble being more aggressive to get macarons/Soul Whisk more often, but I'll get the partner endings eventually. Giving up is NOT part of me! 8)

I feel your pain. got lvl. 28 that time. but to beat the game without continue learn when to stop getting more soul frisk but use it as back up life support. you know like a 2nd bomb to deplete bullets when getting interrupted.

Funny I did just that when I was under 200% about to literally eat a huge shot. Of course, I also have no idea how much Synchro is needed for the full partner ending, so I better just get good enough to get up to 20 like you do...

Just finished the game with Tarosuke's special ending and I've got to say, what makes Tarosuke the worst partner are nor his kind of shots, but the explosion animations, which overlay some bullets (like kibis or many in last stage). That makes him an ally, who makes the game even harder to beat, lol.

I was told the same thing by Shinji16, about the explosions being annoying, but I still feel there's far less advantage compared to the other partners aside from this point.

Glad to see someonoe notice the conversation trick! I can't believe you can actually reach 11 on stage 1. But this proves it. Though it isn't the way to get most score from stage 1, but it will definitely help with later on considering you'll get x 12 from anything in starting from stage 2.
I've decided to upload a not-so-good Black mode play on Stage 2 as well :P It should at least give some hints to some attacks though!

Oh nuts. :o I'm surely would be dead soon from that speed of the mochies. Either quick burst to fill up soul frisk or make 1 interrupted synchro to save a life but gain 1 soul frisk level without bonus.
That must have been taken a lot of tries and recording. *clicks on the movie board 25th try click and action* it consumes a lot of video space to record.

I have been playing it for little over an hour now and I finally got to King Fuuma in Sweet Mode, but I haven't been able to beat him yet.
I run out of continues, but I keep getting better each time I play. Of course, it may take a LONG time before I get good enough to get the partner endings because my Synchro always drops back down to 0. LOL
Well, I must say that Toryu is HOT! Toryu and the Oni Twins are definitely my favorites.

I'm terribly sorry, everyone. The newest version 1.12 has a very serious bug. The background of the whole stage 4 is gone, and you might not be able to play it on some computer. I'm building 1.13 right now which should fix all of these bugs.
Sorry, it's really unexpected, but apparently I did something wrong why fixing stuffs in 1.12, and I was open stage 4 file at that time. It will take me around 5 - 10 minutes to build one target, so please be patient.

Okay. I am Totally in love with this game. I finally defeated King Fuuma, twice. I stripped him completely the second time. ;D
I do have a question. How high does your Synchro Level have to be before you can get the Partner Endings?
I have been trying and trying, and the highest I have been able to get mine was to 15 in Sweet Mode. Plus, I always seem to get killed when fighting Fuuma at least once, then I have continue with a Synchro Level of 0... That makes it impossible to get the Partner Endings.
Any help or suggestions from someone who has already done it would be great. I would love to see the Partner Ending story CGs and I know with practice I can do it. I just need a little advice on how to do it. LOL

Something feels weird. I didn't recall the normal mode to be that extra hard. Felt like bitter. Last time was able to reach to stage 4 and died there always. I've played new game after finishing sweet mode. ??? Just you wait oni papa I'll beat you. >:(

That's awesome! Though, the current version is a lot different than the demo highscore contest, so it's probably not fair to compare with them right now. Still, I thought cutting down the time and the boss hitpoints would make the score lessen. Apparently I was wrong!
Also, I saw a CRAZY score in Arthur's Normal mode O_O Apparently, the guy got Synchro Level to 49, and beat it without using any continue!
Also, feel free to share any tips on how to deal with certain bosses/enemies :) I'm sure people who want to get a partner's ending by themselves like HeftyHuck and others will appreciate them!

I am so glad there is a Practice Mode because I have been playing each stage I've beaten so I can get better.
Also, I am enjoying playing the game not only for the hot CGs by Takezamurai but also for the beautiful backgrounds and bullet patterns. I know I probably have said this a lot, but you guys did an incredible job creating this game.
Might update... Always prepare enough power level and finish your boss with armor break. Sorry I am not good in explaining but it's my notes. Will focus on the boss patterns first.
Fuuma is sweet mode.
I haven't beaten normal mode yet. Practicing each normal stage and see how many synchro level gain without miss.
Battle notes:
Normal Mid-boss and Boss battle tip
stage 1 can earn LV 13-15 Soul frisk level.
Mid boss
1.1
kunais are really good to power up and to fill up soul frisk. Stay near to him when he's preparing to throw kunais.
1.2
spread attack. Stay near as possible to collect power ups and soul frisk. If you stay too far you cannot yellow bullets are very hard to get through.
Boss
1.1
look at the picture on your left. Be sure to stay under Frey. Bullets appear above Frey. Good to power up and soul frisk.
1.2
easy to evade. But still stay under Frey. Collect bullets to power up and shoot till he's almost out of his life. Till time is nearly to run out finish him.
1.3
stay under Frey. Too many bullets this time. Best to collect soul frisk and power ups.
1.4
at the beginning quick burst when bullets start to appear. Then tap shoot your enemy. It will collect power ups and shoot at same time.
1.5
Stay at the bottom of the screen. At the height of the prince shoes. You should shoot your boss till almost depleted. Use the remaining time to to power up. when the bullets about to go near you along the side. you can quick burst to soul frisk and also power up. till remaining time left finish him.
Stage 2
Mid-boss ??? the couples *They look like midboss to me. or 3/4 boss*
Be sure your power is above 250%. Get rid of the Left one first and use quick burst when he's nearly finish shooting. Might take 2 burst to defend yourself.

Collecting power ups and synchro level fill up. Stay above Frey to get ready. use the remaining time to finish him
1.2
too many quick bullets.
1st shoot pattern - shoots straight line. Good for collecting power ups and soul frisk. evade fast it shoots quick.
2nd shoot pattern - he quick swoop bullets be sure to stay down at prince shoes.
3rd shoot pattern - he shoots slow bullets. Can tap shooting in this part to collect power ups and shooting.
1.3
Collecting power ups and synchro level fill up. Stay above Frey to get ready. use remaining time to finish him.
1.4
1st shoot pattern (Hard to collect power ups) - Blue bullets are slow but it gives out a little to collect power.
2nd shoot pattern (really hate this) - red bullets are spread attack but fast. the paintings are the ones you have to worry about. they zoom fast towards ya.
1.5
Collecting power ups and synchro level fill up. Stay above Frey to get ready. When his life is nearly gone and time is almost up. Be sure your power is 300% and also armor break him
1.6
You will hate this one. very hard to collect power ups. stay below at the prince shoes. avoid the slash patterns and arrow bullets. arrow bullets goes in one direction slowly. best get rid of him as fast as you can.
1.7
His attacks can cause you blindness. When he uses his yellow lights attack. you cannot see his blue line bullets. Must get rid of him fast.
You will hate this most. you cannot collect bullets easily.
Stage 3
mid boss fish guy
Good area to collect power ups and soul frisk but very risky. You have to move back fast after the quick burst because this fish after burst. when he dives back to the water bullets moves along with him. save 300% power up and full soul frisk when time runs out and finish him. You need this to defend along the way to the boss.
boss
1.1
Double shuriken spread. You will hate this one. Good for power up and synchro fill up. 1st one is very fast less bullets and 2nd one medium speed but has lots of bullets and narrow escape. If you time the quick burst in the right time you might absorb the 2nd spread.
1.2
Good for power up and synchro level up slow and narrow escape. Tap shooting needed in here. Stay between the fireballs for quick burst.
1.3
Another hard power up and synch level increase but easy to evade. Shuriken spread. he jumps left and right same position. 1st top middle, 2nd top right 3rd middle left 4th lower right 5th middle left 6th top right. return back to 1st position
1.4
shadow clone jitsu technique. destroying the fake can burst out fireballs. Tip to get rid of the clones use quick burst between 2 clones.
1.5
Corner shadow clones technique. when the clones are at the corners. stay under the lower left clone. you can absorb power up and no shuriken will hit ya. Next trick part it's a narrow evasion.
1.6
Dragon fireballs. I really hate remembering the 1st move. 1st move is Curve ball easy to absorb power up and do tap shooting. 2nd diagonal narrow escape need to quick burst some of them.
1.7
fire spread stay way bottom to evade and tap shoot. narrow escape on fireballs.
Stage 4
Mid Boss
1.1
Good for synch level up and power up. He gather all bullets in same place and release. Best to quick burst during gathering and absorb when gather. Save 300% and full synch level you need it on the next round.
1.2
He gather all bullets under him and release with a spark. Move mid left to let the mid boss target you and release his bullets then evade down and shoot and move to mid right to let him target you again. when his life is almost gone armor break him. be sure you still have enough power on next round.
1.3
He shoot giant spark ball and release big balls to hit you. Suggest kill him quick and end it with sugar burst.
Boss
1.1
Quick burst on the blue guy he gives good amount of synch level up and power up. Red guy must evade his quick shooting.
1.2
Quick burst on the person who is spinning. Absorb for power up move closer to the person started spinning and move back.
1.3
need to tap shooting in this. Blue guy is hardest to evade but easy to get power up. Red guy easy to evade but hard to absorb bullets. Quick burst them when they're closer. It gives twice the damage.
1.4
Tap shooting many bullets. they shoot lines then out comes energy ball and tiny bullets. quickest way to absorb bullets do not tap shoot. just absorb
1.5
Red tornado and blue rain. Red guy spins towards ya and release loops of red balls while blue releases his energy ball dropping on ya. Tap shooting required and quick burst on red guy when spinning.
1.6
Blue flash and red thunder. Red goes spinning and hit around corners like a top making a a red spark explosion while Blue is releasing his energy balls. Tap shooting needed in here.
1.7
can cause blindess hard to see bullets. When it's ready to unleash it's attack. stop shooting and try to absorb the bullets.
Stage 5
mid boss felt like they're same level in sweet level.
1.1
They both switch sides in going down and up. They leave spreading arrow bullets leaving 1 direction. hard to tap shoot in here best to absorb bullets and shoot stronger. or yet quick burst when they go at the middle.
1.2
They disappear on the sides and leaving trail of bullets diagonally slow and energy following them. best to almost deplete life and use remaining time to absorb power ups.
1.3
hurricane bullets. they spin around shooting bullets random direction then energy balls comes in. Tap shooting and save 300% and full synchro level.
Boss Sweet mode
1.1
circular petal bloom. it's going to be narrow to squeeze in to quick burst and armor break him. Tap shooting needed. safe to stay a bit far to give a chance of opening. good to collect power ups
1.2
Water petal wave. a huge wave of petals very hard to get through. Tap shooting will be very hard to get rid of them and the bullet beams are so annoying. they're curve bullets.
1.3
Flower Blooms. when bullets start to appear you can quick burst near the boss. tap shooting and easy to evade.
1.4
I hate those curving beam bullets ><;; they're very hard to predict the curves. need to be safe in far distance when he release the bullets and move left and right do not move down because the curves hits you easily. Tap shooting to collect power ups.
1.5
Feather bullets. Slow but makes a curve. Good to collect power up. When he shoots his straight line beam use quick burst.
1.6
Sphere rays. this one blinds you. Very hard to predict the rays. Tap shooting will be hard to get power ups.
1.7
feather bombs away. stay a bit near to boss and tap shoot to collect power ups follow and evade his bullets. use quick burst to absorb his beam attack.
1.8
Black feathers. They're not the bullets good to absorb it's gust makes it hard to predict where it blows. the hurricane sphere need to use quick burst when the bullets are ready to be blown away. to evade it go above them. They're very hard to absorb for power ups.
1.9
fast droppings away. the bullets on the side looks good to quick burst for synchro level. but don't use quick burst too much. they're very hard absorb for power ups. The boss moves zigzag to make you have hard time to evade. He shoots slow big bullets to make you have hard time to absorb if you tap shoot.
1.10
Double twister. the petals falls left, falls right and falls down. The twister is a barricade to let you avoid getting near to him.
1.11
Black feathers of doom. The boss creates a huge suction where petals goes towards him and he turns them into a black feathers. Best to get rid of him fast as you can. ><;;
Using Frey on the side image as a landmark is something I've never thought off! I'm also glad you found tap shooting technique!
Tarosuke is probably the best partner to use this technique.

Fast rice biscuits. evade and tap shoot it.
The huge rice biscuits is suprising. the spread of it's shot gives me a hard time. had to quick burst 2 times to absorb it's bullets.
stage 4
The quick worm or shell... I don't know what that is. If if it's targeting me it fires long arrow bullets got to absorb it quick till the long near attack comes in. Quick burst.
a higgly bomb is hardest when explode it will shoot fast bullets zig zag. you got to damage them a bit then quick burst on them so that the bomb will not release.
stage 5
Huge Riceworm biscuits shoots lot of bullets. damage them a bit and quick burst when they're firing bullets.
Peach boys. had to use quick burst when they're close together or many bullets is near.
The worms makes a light beam. you got to stay in the middle and evade it by moving down and side a little. moving too big can corner ya.
Fast charging mochi's quickburst when many bullets come in.
It's times like this that I feel like I'm such a loser for barely beating Sweet Mode when nearly everyone else is doing fine with Normal Mode DX

Slow tapping in shooting. Tap it on the shoot button. So the circle would go small and large. Depends if you want to shoot fast or slow. You will shoot and absorb. 50% shooting 50% absorb bullets or 25% shooting 75% absorb bullets.
I finally did it! I finally beat the game with all 4 partners and I got all the Hot Partner Endings! I am so Happy!!! ;D
I even submitted my score online and I placed on all of them except Arthur (Only in Sweet Mode. LOL). I didn't place very high, but I am just happy to be in the top 10 online that were submitted. My name I submitted them under was KEITH. Now I am going to try beating the game in Normal Mode.
I really hope this game is selling great because I LOVED it, and I would love a Part 3. ;D

Can somebody explain the requirements for the scenes with the original Sugar Shooter guys? As far as I can tell you need to play on >= Normal and [spoiler]attain a certain Synchro Level with each partner[/spoiler]. But do you have to [spoiler]end the game with that Synchro Level[/spoiler]?
That seems sorta ridiculous given how likely you are to get pwned by Fuuma.
Also, do you ever get extra credits in Normal the same way you do in Sweet?

I am still very new to playing Sugar Shooters unlike many people here, but I might be able to answer your question since I just beat the game with each partner and received all 4 partner endings. You don't have to play on Normal Mode. You can get the partner endings (Scenes with the original Sugar Shooter guys) in Sweet Mode. [spoiler]You do need to beat King Fuuma with a Synchro Level of at least 10 with each partner to see the endings.[/spoiler] In Normal mode it would definitely be harder, but in Sweet Mode you can do it. I managed to do it in Sweet Mode in about 2 weeks, and I had never played a Shooter game before. :) Fuuma can be hard, but if I can do it then anyone can because I suck at games. LOL

HeftyHuck is correct. There is no need to play on Normal mode, unless you want to strip Oni Papa :)

Hi! I just purchased SS2, but I'm having some trouble.
I'm using a XBOX 360 MadCatz TE stick. Regardless of how I setup the controls, up and down is always inverted. Also, when I reach the first boss my buttons get set to default.
I only seem to be able to run the basic mode. I think I might have the demo version, but I downloaded it from the BMT Micro Orders link sent to my email.
Eager to hear a reply, I'm a big SS fan :)

You controller seems to be a y-axis inverted controller. You need to edit the setting.json file with a text editor (Notepad would be fine) and change the y-inverted from false to true.
As for buttons get reset when meeting the first boss, I've never experienced anything like that so it'd be hard to say what could cause it. I'd say it has to do with the controller, and it's possible that it might be Unity's bug with specific controller.
For now, please try and see if you can get the inverted control fixed from editing setting.json :)
As for the game, I don't quite understand what you mean by basic mode. But the version on the link from BMTMicro will always be the latest version.

Oh... Yes! Please make an extra stage expansion for Oni Papa. That would be so cool! But, please if you do make one... make it so that people who can only play and beat the game in Sweet Mode can get it too. I know Normal mode and higher is just too difficult for myself.
Also, it would be so cool if there were 2 different type of endings for the Oni Papa extra stage. One ending if Satan wins and one if Satan loses.
If Satan wins then Oni Papa will be "Punished" like all the other guys in the game... But if Satan loses then maybe Oni Papa could "Punish" Satan like how Satan punished everyone else. I figure if Satan is a little pervert who loves sex, then he should enjoy getting "Punished" sometimes, too. He doesn't always have to be a Top. ;D Plus, being "Punished" by Oni Papa would be HOT! ;)
And the fun thing about having 2 endings is that even if you win or lose you still get some HOT CGs! :)
Oni-Papa could be an extra stage... like Flandre/Moukou from Touhou. He could be angry at Satan for "punishing" Aka and Ao.
I need to practice more! I can't 1cc the game anymore.... :'(

Gah, you scared me at first, I played through the game on easy, see Oni Papa, realize I can't strip the hottest guy in the game, and I was all sad and stuff, but then I realized I just need to play on normal :P

A Stage expansion for Oni Papa would be freakin' awesome!! I love the game, but I was a bit disppointed when I found out Oni-Papa didn't have a sex scene. :(
I also agree with HeftyHuck. If you do make it (and I hope you do ;D) it should be unlockable through sweet mode as well so everyone can play it.

First of all, I want to say hi to everyone in this forum since it is my first post. :)
I recently purchased Sugar Shooter 2 and I am finding myself unable to unlock much content mainly because I suck at danmaku T_T. Also, the fact that I don't have much free time does not help either. The game is very fun and I think it is fantastic and really polished. I also enjoy the danmaku genre, but I have come to the conclusion that I cannot do much by myself (for example, I enjoy Touhou games immensely, but I always end up dowloading the replays to see the whole game).
I wanted to ask if any of you would be so nice as to share with me a 100% save game with me. I even asked punipen for permission before posting about this first! hahaha
On another note, I would be happy to help with the Spanish (from Spain) translation of the game! ;D

1. You can only strip Oni Papa when you play in [spoiler]Normal Mode and Above. Unfortunately you can't take his clothes off in Sweet Mode. :([/spoiler]
2. To unlock the sex scenes with your partners you must complete the game by defeating King Fuuma with a [spoiler]Synchro Level of at least 10 with each partner to see the endings. You have to strip all the bosses along the way, and King Fuuma as well.[/spoiler] You can get all the partner endings in Sweet Mode so you don't have to play it in a harder mode unless you want to. Even in Sweet Mode it can still be very challenging not to die before beating King Fuuma to get the partner endings, but I am sure you can do it! :) It took me 2 weeks to get them all.
3. In the gallery/theatre the pictures/scenes that have a star above them are unlocked throughout the game. Some are pictures of the opening scenes of the game, some are game endings after you defeat King Fuuma (Stripped and Not Stripped), and the "Game Over" picture... which I think is really cute of Prince Satan. ;)

It is real easy to hide stuff behind the black Spoilers. All you have to do is take your mouse and highlight the text you want to hide then click on the "SP" button at the top of the message that you are typing. The "S" looks normal and the "P" is in a black box on the button. :)

I love the music in the game too :) Wolfle is really good and I think we're going to ask her to join Kemo Coliseum or future project as well! My favourite is Dreams of the Cherry Blossoms too. Especially when you dodge Fuuma's pattern while listening to it XD

I talked to Take-san and it seems like he's really overwhelm with IRL job at the moment :( I'll keep you guys update if there's any progress. Sorry for the lack of activity. Been busy with work and Kemo Coliseum lately :-(

Hey Guys thank you for your constant work! Just wanted to see more of Oni Papa all the time and it's like a wish comes true ;D So take all the time you need, i now it will be worth the waiting!
Gahhh. Made it to Stage 5 with 18 Sync, then lost all of it during a mess-up in the final battle. :< There goes my partner ending.
Allow me to chime in as well regarding help to the partner endings. :) I always get so disappointed during hours of strategic play just to not get anywhere. Ha. But I understand that's all part of the game. But yeah, reading back.. Save Points or a patch to aid with gamers looking for help to the partner endings without an option for high score upload. That sounds like a wonderful idea.

Also, that isn't redundant at all! I would love to hear more about this though. I've been debating about this in the group and I think it would be best if we hear more from players.
My future plan to solve this problem is to let you start from any stage you have beaten with the selected partner on the selected difficulty.
Score will still be submitted to Online Mode, but it's clear that if you play more stages, you'll get higher score. If anyone has an iPhone or Android, this is similar to a game called Espgaluda 2, which is also a bullet hell shooter game. Despite being a game for hard core gamers, they allow you to start from any stages in story mode. Hardcore gamers still choose to start from stage 1, but this will not take away options from casual players. If you just want to see ending, you can start from later stages :)

I'm not sure if i understand it... When I start at later stages, how is the Status? I never made it trough the Game cause the King always fu... me up. Till the last stage everything worked perfect. So if I start in the last stage with a status like the first stage, I fear it won't get me far because the stage and the boss are very hard. :-[
Hope I'm clear my english isn't that great...
For now, I've decided that the following status would be the same as the first stage:
- Starting Lives -> 3
- Sugar Power -> 200%
If you don't think you can get Synchro Level to 10 within one single stage, then you can start from stage 4 or 3 instead. It's still better than starting all the way from the beginning, right? :)

Right! I'm so sorry I was busy and forgot about making this clear. I talked to Take-san and while he wants to do it, he felt like he has drawn a lot of stuffs for SS2 already so he wanted to take a break and do something else before visiting SS2 again :-\
Currently, we're working with him on a new erotic puzzle game. So it has to be after that. Probably when we work on the next game in Sugar Shooter series.

hey guys finally i get sign in this forum. I had finished game on sweet mode but no sex scenes r unlocked no theatre and other gallery only dressed bosses and first naked pic dono why is like that i finished first boss on medium mode thought it will unlock another pic but nope. After finished boss is first nude pic and later is black with text and go another level. Dono why is like that i have version 1.1 and cant find patch maybe it will help. were you able to armor break all the clothes?. when his HP is almost gone. you have to use sugar burst to finish him. If the difficulty is high you can unlock some secret art. If you were able to finish the whole game without continues and must be in high sugar level. You will unlock partners endings.
i checked and u right i need undress boss while fight then i unlocked naked scenes:) thank u its fun game could be nice get part 3 something more advanced ;) or longer:) its very cool thanks again:)))
