Do you think voice actors would make the gaming experience better?

Sure, it's fun to hear what the characters would sound like

Naw, I'd rather just keep it all in the text

@Reiga
Ahh, no wonder you know so well about all these voice actors!

Dan Green actually sounds really good with Sugarless! Not the Yugi voice one though, more like Hudson's one without the playful tone.

I like Jake Long sounds on Arthur...but I could be bias because I find Jake Long hot <3

Not sure about Souffle... Krillin sounds too old! Todd Kaberkorn sounds sweet though :3

I don't mind women VA though. Many Japanese male characters are voiced by women VA so I'm kinda used to that.

Man, I literally spend the whole morning listen to all these! LOL! If I don't get the work done, I'm blaming you guys for this ( \ _ / )

PS. Someone need to do a video showing SS character and playing these voices along :P

Arthur

Satan: I quite like Joshua Seth as Satan. It never would have crossed my mind since it's been ages since I've watched Digimon but his voice actually works well I think.

Tarosuke: I think Mona Marshall could work with and angrier tone to her voice. But not exactly perfect either. I guess I'd prefer a male voice too.

Arthur: Both Todd Haberkorn and Dante Basco would be great for Arthur although I'm leaning towards Dante I think.

Souffle: I'm not sure about any of the voices suggested. I kind of don't imagine him having a voice that's too high pitched, just kinda laid-back but sweet. I'm not sure who would fit that bill though.

Sugarless: I think Dan Green would be fine for Sugarless since this isn't supposed to be a serious game so he voice would suit the dramatic leader of the villains lol. Plus he could do he's more childlike voice for his true form.

Interesting suggestions either way.

Yeah, I tried to get a character where Mona was being pissed about something, but it was just easier to use the Digimon clips. Since you've heard the voice before I'm sure you know what that sounds like.

I'm actually surprised most people preferred the Dante Blasco voice for Arthur. I thought maybe that would be the one people would not like. lol

Yeah I don't know why I kept going for high-pitched but after listening to them it felt a little right to me.
Neon Genesis Evangelion - Kaworu and Shinji in Bath
What about Greg Ayres as Kaworu. I couldn't find many examples of the guy's voice, since he clearly was a little subtle about expression for the character, but maybe you'll like this better than the high-pitched voices.

I don't know about Dan Green. Like I switched open an image while I listened to each voice , an image of the character I mean, and it just felt like a bad fit.
choose the best gohan voice
Here's Stephanie Nadolny who did Son Gohan, Kid Goku, Goku Jr., etc for a lot of the Funimation Dragonball/Z stuff.
choose the best gohan voice #2
This is Saffron Henderson. Another voice for Gohan in a different dub.

Still not what I would call good fits though. But I think a boyish voice with a little gruff is a better fit than just a soft voice in general.

Edit: Kick Buttowski - Drop Kick / Box Office Blitz
Just sip to 15:14 Charlie Schlatter as Kick Buttowski, the kid in the helmet.
The description matched what I said with a gruff boyish voice, but tell me what you think.

Arthur

Wow! I like the sound of Charlie Schlatter. I think I prefer his voice for Sugarless. I'm not very knowledgeable about cartoon voice actors but there are some really great ones out there. Dante Basco and Charlie Schlatter are great choices either way.

Also after listening to the Krillin clip again I think he might actually suit Souffle in a weird way. Or even maybe Dave Wittenberg with his Teddie voice in Persona 4.

Persona 4 - Best of Teddie(1/3)

That and I love his terrible puns in this video anyway, so I enjoy posting it lol.
