The beetle can be a gardener or a wrestler X3
...
Wrestling Gardener?

Or maybe a hagfish? :3

How about a Lancer? Beetles also have horn to pierce enemies. We can't put it as a farmer as a Dung beetle.....  ???

Hagfish not good for kemono.  :P :P

Wanfang

How about endangered species? Tiger or Panda

Like Pao from Kung-Fu Panda and Tai fu from Tai fu Wrath of the tiger style. They're the best warriors to protect their last of their kinds.

But it's not unusual.  That's quite common to use.

What about a goat?  Like a Mountain Ram?

Jayger

@ Reiga  ;D Beetle would be a very interesting idea. hehe lovebug.

@Wanfang

I like the tiger idea. Or even a sabertooth tiger.  8)
Boars and Dragons are pretty suitable for the kemono style too.

Sabertooth- Lost with no memory of his past, the warrior wonders from coliseum to coliseum hoping to find more clues. The only clues he holds are a locket with a picture in it and a tattoo on his back reading "Coliseum champion #6"

Boar- a swindler and a gambler at heart, he hopes to cheat and control his way to the top to satisfy his greed. No matter how dirty it gets. Swinging his hammer, he heads straight for the tournament.

Dragons- a hardworking blacksmith in search of a thief that stole his families' precious dragon metal, he embarks on the never-ending chase. He hears news from a bar that a boar with a large hammer was headed for huge tournament being held. The same description as the thief he's looking for. He follows suit.

mmm

Sabertooth sounds like a cool idea. But the heroes are still joining the tournament nobody won yet. 6 is still not yet a champion.

The Boar does remind of the sherif from robin hood. I bet if he lose He would get more punished and humiliated as ever.

Many does request on dragons. :) But what kind of job he got? (Swordsman or a knight). After the Boar got defeated what will he do next after the next round? The tournament isn't over yet.

Remember the King grants 1 wish to the winner of the tournament. Those who lose will be punished and humiliated by the audience.

I didn't think that far lol.
Thanks for pointing that out.

Does a blacksmith count as a job?  ;D

Reiga

The characters don't have to be heroes, they just have to be able to fight :3

What about Gorillas and Monkeys?

Just have to be a purpose why they battle and join the tournament. Heroes or villains.

Gorillas are good in strength. They might be carrying huge log or bat to strike out.

Monkeys are flexible and fast and tricky too. Real Fitting body.  :D  He carries a staff like Son Goku?

I think it'd be a lot more fun to see them carry opposite weapons X3

So the Gorilla could have a staff

And the Monkey could use a bat, like the Scout >:3

So many interesting ideas here! That beetle is hot, btw. And I think we got many requests for scalies too, so crocs or dragons need some lovin! <3 Sabretooth is rare as well, and the story is interesting.

Keep them coming, I love reading them!  ;)

Hhhhmmmm what kind of animal who is so rich and greedy and keeps calling people as peasants but proud of his own power. He looks so spoiled.  >:(  He's a Fencer and admires his own charm. This one would fit as a Villain.

What kind of animal......  :-\

I like the Cat prince better because he's not into riches and not taking next in throne but he's an adventurer. *thumbs up for the cat prince Hero*  :D
